Meet Krazy George — The World’s Most Famous Cheerleader
For over 50 years, Krazy George Henderson has been the ultimate superfan, the inventor of The Wave, and the world’s first professional cheerleader. He’s performed live in front of more than 25 million fans and has been seen by hundreds of millions more on TV.
Krazy George’s story began in 1968 as an enthusiastic fan at San Jose State University. His wild energy and booming drum soon turned him into a local legend throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. In 1975, his big break came when Lamar Hunt, owner of the Kansas City Chiefs, brought him in for one game — George was such a hit that he was hired full-time for every home game for the next four years, creating a new profession: the full-time professional cheerleader.
But Krazy George didn’t stop there. On October 15, 1981, at an Oakland A’s vs. New York Yankees playoff game, he made sports history by inventing The Wave. That simple, brilliant spark of fan energy circled the stadium that day and went on to circle stadiums around the world, uniting fans everywhere in one giant rolling cheer.
From the NFL and NHL to the World Cup and countless other events, Krazy George has transformed crowds into unstoppable fanatics — whether it’s 25,000 fans in a stadium or corporate crowds at business events. Teams and companies that bring him in once usually bring him back again and again.
Krazy George has been featured in People magazine, appeared on TV shows like Hollywood Squares and To Tell the Truth, and starred in countless interviews and commercials for teams and products. In September 2003, San Francisco’s Evening Magazine aired a full segment on Krazy George, his unstoppable career, and the birth of The Wave.
After all these years, Krazy George remains the world’s most famous — and maybe even sexiest — cheerleader. His mission is simple: get people on their feet, get them cheering, and keep The Wave rolling strong.

Comfortable chairs, cool decor, a few TV's. It's small, but it definitely has character! We came on a weeknight and it wasn't overly crowded.

I was fortunate enough to wander in and get a personal session of all the newest brews December 2024. THEY'RE AMAZING. The brewers know the culture. I got an amazing taste of what's hot in west coast CA beer, and they proved it. The crew is amazing and truly cares about the craft. I've drunk craft beers all around the country, have never experienced a personal taste and care like this. Cannot express the personal touch experienced here enough.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I think this place has been here for about 3 years and I finally stopped by to try it out. They have a decent selection of beers and nice location. The beer is good but I feel I’ve had their beer at other places. Living in Gilroy, I really want to give this local business more stars because I would love to see downtown Gilroy with more good dining restaurants and locations to have a good drink and hang out. They can definitely improve on their customer service. We weren’t greeted when we walked in and waited a while to be served today. A simple “we’ll be right with you” would made the difference and no one ever checked on us on how we were doing.
